Newsletter 2 Autumn Term 2022
Welcome to Autumn 2
We hope you had a lovely half term break. The children have all settled in well into the new
academic year. We are looking forward to our favourite term ahead full of Christmas fun!
Staff Updates
This term we welcomed Levi to our team. Levi has close family ties with the nursery and being a
fully qualified primary teacher, she has a lot of experience with working with children.
She has taken over as administration officer, she works Monday, Wednesday and Friday and is
very approachable to help you with any questions or issues.
Elizabeth our business manager works Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday who is also available
and happy to help.
Harvest
It was lovely to see so many of you at our Harvest Festival.
It was great to see all the children engaging in the service and they all sang with confidence.
Our younger children will have the opportunity to take part next year. Thank you so much for
all the food donations which have now gone to the local food bank.
Parent Consultations
If you have not already done so, please can you sign up with your child’s key worker for a
parent consultation. At this meeting they will inform you of your child’s progress and you have
the opportunity to raise any issues or questions about your child’s development.
Early Starts
Please remember that we do offer an Early Start (from 08.30 to 09.00) charged at £5 if that
helps anyone. You can book a regular slot or use this service as you need it.
Please can everyone check that you have filled in all the necessary permissions and child details
(especially collection passwords and health details) on the Parent admin system. Thank you.
You will get reminders from the system as well.
PTFA
We have an active Parent, Teacher and Friend Association who organise exciting events
throughout the year. If you can help in anyway, we are always looking for new members. Please
speak to a member of staff if you are interested.
Trustees
If you would like to be involved with the nursery there are also vacancies on the board of
trustees. Trustees need to be current parents and meetings take place about three times a
year. Please either speak to the office or send an email if you would like to join us!
Thank you for your continued support
