Newsletter Autumn 1 Term 2024

Welcome

Welcome back to all our returners and a huge welcome to all those families joining us this academic year. We hope you had a lovely summer, and it is lovely that the sun is still shining!
We are very excited about the year ahead and have loads of fun activities for everyone to join in with. There’s lots to cover in this newsletter so please take the time to read it through.

Staff Updates

This year we are pleased to have all our staff return after sickness and maternity leave. Just to
let you know that Levi (who deals with admissions and funding) in the office is taking a year
sabbatical as she is completing an EYFS teaching qualification. Therefore, Ruby will be covering
her in the office. Please be patient with Ruby as she is new to the role and will deal with
enquires as soon as she can. Ruby will be available in the office fours days a week, Monday,
Wednesday, Thursday and Fridays.

Tapestry

Please use this as a way of ‘chatting’ with your child’s key person. Staff check their messages
regularly and will be able to respond quickly to any questions or worries. Please also add your
comments and thoughts to the observations as it’s a great way to get to know you and your
child. The staff work very hard at keeping you updated with pictures so please respond if you
can and add pictures from home. In the near future we will also organise some meetings with
your key person.

Lunches

Please, if possible, send packed lunches in a hard plastic box which is easy to wipe clean. Please
also remember not to pack any eggs or nuts (including chocolate hazelnut spread, peanut
butter etc.) as we have children with allergies. Please also cut grapes, olives and sausages and
cherry tomatoes lengthways due to possible choking. Finally, please clearly name their lunch
box.

Book bags

Please bring your child’s-coloured book bag each day so they can bring home their works of art
and please check them for important letters from us. Just a reminder no toys from home
please.

Uniform

If you would like All Saints uniform, please order direct from the website www.myclothing.com
and search for the nursery name. Can jumpers/clothes also be clearly named please.

Early Starts/Late Finishes

Please remember that we do offer an Early Start (from 08.30 to 09.00) charged at £5.50 and a
Late Finish (from 3.30-4.00) charged at £6.00 if that helps anyone. You can book these as a
regular slot or use this service as you need it.

Permissions

It is extremely important that everyone completes the necessary permissions and child details
(especially collection passwords, health details and please make sure there are at least 2
emergency contacts) on the Parent Admin system. Thank you.

Thank you for your continued support.
